ENERGY

These days people experience two extremes of energy. On the one hand you may find yourself fatigued, even depressed, with low energy. You may find that you have to make yourself do the necessary things, that you have little energy for day-to-day life. On the other hand, you may experience great bursts of energy, a sense of being impelled to act, to achieve and accomplish, of being pushed into new activities, greater expansion, new ways of being. Sometimes you may experience one of these extremes one day, and the other the next.

Here is a meditation to stabilize the energy, to nourish and sustain your life energy. It is simple. You may already be familiar with it. It is a time to remember it.

Sit quietly and imagine a golden light in the space of the heart. That golden light takes the shape of a small flame. It is a steady flame; it does not flicker. Feel the warmth and light penetrate your being. Know that golden light is the light of your soul. Take time to be with it, to nurture and nourish it, to acknowledge and recognize it, and then that light will nurture and nourish you and will guide you.

To sit in such a way is to dialogue with your soul. At a time when events in the  outer world are challenging, disturbing and painful it is good to dialogue with your soul, to experience that inner light which can never be extinguished. It is good to share this experience with others, to sit together with others in a dialogue with the soul. It is good to remember that in the midst of seeming darkness there is light. It is good to remember that in the midst of opposition and conflict there is a heart of peace and love. The flame of golden light is the eternal flame, the light of the soul, the heart of peace and love. As you connect with that light within yourself, as you honor and acknowledge it, as you nurture and nourish it and keep it, that light radiates out through the great web of being, the great collective consciousness.

So may you nurture and nourish that light. May that light nurture and nourish you. And may that light spread far in this world.

Every Thursday evening we have a prayer circle here at my home in New Mexico at 8 pm Mountain Standard Time. That’s 10pm Eastern time, 8pm Central time, and 7pm Pacific time in the USA. Please join us if you wish. Take a few minutes to tune in and connect with the light in yourself, to join us in that great collective web of consciousness. Say a prayer for peace, for all beings, for yourself, for your loved ones….whatever you need.  It is 4 in the morning in Europe but…join us in dreamtime.

With Love,

Donna
